The masterplan is amazing. Consultation is vital to ensuring the collective are considered however once considered it is imperative that decisions acted on. The Central Coast has such a transient community which generally equates to time restricted. Whilst the consultation has been broad and accessible it is possible that a large percentage of core community are disconnected from the consultation. Which may not reflect the actual community- which is given the large propotion of commuters, who spend most of their time commuting and when they return to their community they are getting on with a functional existance rather than contributing to the wider community development. The draft Masterplan is a credit to our community and signifies progress. I have a young family and consider the Coast my home. I want progress and the Masterplan is reflects my community and progress- it is outstanding. Now lets just bite the bullet and get on with it. Enough with the chat.
