Gosford City Council has been awarded $1.5 million under The NSW Local Infrastructure Fund interest-free loan scheme for the construction of a new pump station to permit the increase in development of Gosford CBD area.
The existing sewer pump station has been in place since the 1940s, and currently services the majority of the Gosford CBD and adjacent urban areas. The project includes the establishment of additional storage capacity to cater for increased demand and enhanced protection of the environment.
