Does Gosford really need 600 more parking spaces?
What it needs is a really good public transport system, keeping cars out of Gosford CBD.

Is that an extra 600 spaces on top of the 600 existing car park spaces on the top two floors of the GTC.
And are we now going to be charged to park where now it's free!

Whilst I support the upgrading of Gosford Waterfront, I am totally against some of the proposals being put forward.
They would totally destroy the very nature of a scenic waterfront; the development needs to be low key( including low heights of buildings).
It is suppose to improve and support the beauty of a scenic waterfront; some proposals totally destroy it. It is PUBLIC OPEN SPACE, and most of it should remain so.

This is the Perfoming Arts Precinct we've all been needing for many years. Seating 1000, I would hope that the accoustic design and racked seating is a priority seeing as this is what is lacking in school basketball courts, churches, and other makeshift performance spaces. Well done to CCLC!

At last a feasable plan. Good parking, close to train, a hall dedicated to performance. An end to improvised venues such as schools, churches, etc for our orchestras, choirs and other groups. Just hope the concert hall has raked seating, to end the cricked-neck syndrome so often seen in audiences up 'til now.

Great achievements in any city are only achieved by productive partnerships. This one of GCC and CCLC can really achieve something for all Central Coast lovers of the performing arts who can now look to the future with hope. The community must give the project its enthusiastic support. I know all the musos will.

There are buildings/eyesores in Gosford that have been vacant for some years that can be used for hotel accommodation to integrate the scheme down from the park to the waterfront. At a conservative/regional height. There is no need to squeeze it all into one spot. The peak hour to stadium to arts centre traffic is going to be chaotic. Re direct peak hour traffic away from here. Do as they do in Brisbane and build your parkland on top of a huge carpark. It will have elevated views of the water and give land back to facilities. In fact you could take all traffic down out of sight in a tunnel with the parkland on top that allows you to go uninterrupted to the waters edge. Safer too. And while I'm at it, ever considered placing your Arts Entertainment Centre away from this all encompassing Gosford? By building it bunker style (to preserve the pristine area) into the mountains of Rumbalara or Waterview Park. Fantastic views out over Brisbane Waters/Gosford Waterways. It has the chance of being a modern day Guggenheim and not a city box like structure. It may even become a destination stop. Know any other structures like this? Could be good. It states what Gosford Council is about 'greentops'.

We, of course, deserve the significance of a Guggenheim in Gosford. Sadly, however, the dollars aren't there! In the meantime this proposal serves a real purpose.

I support the development, however I am concerned about the height of the hotel development ie blocking the sunlight, shadowing our building and impeding our views.
